Humdard is a humanitarian organisation working towards creating a everlasting change in the lives of children, individuals and families living in poverty. We provide help on the basis of need and serve all people regardless of religion, race, creed, ethnicity or gender. We are inspired by human values and  are dedicated to working with vulnerable people.

Humdard is primarily based in Sydney, Australia and has been donating stationery, furniture and equipment to underprivileged schools and provide sponsorship to underpriviledged throughout Fiji.

 

 

 

Humdard was established in Australia on 20 April 2005 by its founding members who are former residents of Fiji, namely, Dev Anand, Krishna Narayan, Bal Chand, Hari Prasad, Ran Bir Singh, Davendra Kumar and Ramesh Chand. Since inception; our activities have been focused on promoting education especially to underprivileged which in our vision will eventually create opportunities to alleviate poverty and sufferings in Fiji.
The founding members’ vision have been humbly appreciated and overtime members with the support from our sponsors & community have continuously persevered to ensure that they make a difference to the lives of the underprivileged in Fiji.
In the beginning Humdard was involved in community based activities such helping schools and other charitable initiatives. From 2010 our focus has moved to individual student sponsorship where needy students are helped directly in consultation with the Principals and District Advisory Councils .

Objective of Humdard Incorporated

Humdard is a humanitarian organization, which was formed by former residents of Fiji living in New South Wales, Australia. The Organization objective is to help the underprivileged students, schools and special schools in Fiji and to help senior citizens in homes. Humdard provides relief in emergency situations and works on long-term community development projects. Together, these addresses the causes of poverty and help people move towards self-sufficiency through education and support to children’s with special needs. We provide help on the basis of need and serve all people regardless of religion, race, creed, ethnicity or gender. We are inspired by human values and are dedicated to work with vulnerable people.
